Training Objectives

These quarterly forums provide information and updates to help staff effectively administer their agency's workers' compensation and return-to-work programs. The agenda will change with each session.

Important

This course will help satisfy the 16 hours of additional training required annually of return-to-work coordinators per Section IX. B. 01 of the Master Agreement.

The forums are at the Joe Serna Jr. Cal/EPA Headquarters Building, 1001 "I" Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 and simultaneously web cast from 9:00 am to noon on the following dates:

  • April 25, 2012
  • July 25, 2012
  • October 23, 2012 (special time - 1 pm to 4 pm)

A Return to Work Coordinator roundtable meeting is held at Franchise Tax Board after each RTW Forum to discuss the event and other workers' compensation or return to work related matters. All are welcome.

Franchise Tax Board also hosts a quarterly roundtable meeting for Personnel Specialists who process workers compensation or state disability insurance. If you are interested in attending either of these meetings, contact Joy Kruse at joy.kruse@ftb.ca.gov
