           Under direction, to do short-term work in support of the annual
           California State Fair.


                              DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

           This classification is distinguished by the fact that employment is
           for less than a six-month duration with no permanent employment.  A
           title descriptive of the nature of the work to be performed is used
           in parenthesis.


                                  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

           Ability to perform assigned work; communicate effectively at a level
           required for successful job performance.
