TYPICAL TASKS Assists in the conduct of written tests and work sample and physical agility performance tests; maintains the security of test material; inspects and collects identification cards to ascertain that only authorized persons are admitted to examinations; distributes examination material; is alert during examination to make certain candidates are marking their papers in an appropriate manner and to prevent dishonesty and collusion between candidates; sees that no person leaves the examination room without authority and that no examination material is taken from the room; maintains order and quiet in the examination room; gathers and checks examination material; times, evaluates and records achievements of candidates on performance tests. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION One year experience working with a group of people. ABILITIES Ability to: Read and write English at a level required for successful job performance; follow oral and written directions; analyze situations accurately, and adopt an effective course of action; be courteous and calm under trying conditions; think and act effectively in emergencies; direct a group of persons in a testing situation; willingness and ability to accept responsibility.
