                                        DEFINITION

           Under the general authority of the Regional Director, assists in the
           administration of secret ballot representation elections and
           performs other related work.


                                      TYPICAL TASKS

           Assists in the conduct of representation matters; oversees balloting
           procedures and rules on challenged ballots; supervises partisan
           observers; maintains security and order at the polling site; insures
           security of the ballots and/or the ballot box during transport to a
           site where ballots are tallied; assists in talley of ballots.


                                        ABILITIES

           Ability to:  Read and write English at a level required for
           successful job performance; follow written and oral directions;
           analyze situations accurately and take effective action; direct
           people, accept responsibility.
