                                  EXPOSITION ASSISTANT I


                                        DEFINITION

           Under direction, to perform simple clerical tasks and to act as a
           messenger at a fair or exposition; and to do other related work.


                                      TYPICAL TASKS

           Does simple clerical work in connection with exhibit records;
           informs exhibitors of scheduled events; gives information regarding
           exhibits to patrons and exhibitors; acts as messenger for
           administrative officials and members of the press at the fair or
           exposition.


                                        ABILITIES

           Ability to:  Read and write English at a level required for
           successful job performance; perform simple clerical tasks; follow
           directions.
