TYPICAL TASKS Prepares and maintains judging sheets, entry sheets, premium lists, awards, and other exhibit records; receives exhibits and assists in locating and arranging them; assists in scheduling events and informing exhibitors of coming events; prepares reports on the number of entries, type of exhibits, and awards; gives information to patrons and exhibitors concerning exhibits; assists in preparation of publicity material for various advertising media. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Either one or a combination of the following: 1. One year of general clerical experience. (Two years of college education may be substituted for this required experience.) or 2. One show period in a clerical or technical position such as an entry clerk, judge's clerk, exhibit clerk or publicity assistant at a fair or exposition of national, statewide or regional scope. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Knowledge of: Procedure involved in preparing and maintaining entry records, judging sheets, premium lists, award lists, and other exhibit records. Ability to: Read and write English at a level required for successful job performance; perform clerical tasks of average difficulty; lay out and place exhibits; prepare reports and assist in the preparation of publicity material for various advertising media.
