  The Department of Personnel Administration intends to 
  repeal Rules 599.799.1 and 599.799.2 which established a 
  pay-for-performance system for State managers and 
  supervisors.
  
  A copy of the notice of repeal, statement of reasons, 
  informative digest, and complete text of the rules proposed 
  for repeal are attached to this memorandum.
  
  The public comment for this proposed rule repeal will end 
  on November 23, 1999.  Please share this proposal with your 
  managers and supervisors before this date.
