   The Master Agreement with State Compensation Insurance Fund
   (State Fund) allows for Service Fee Rates to be adjusted at
   the beginning of each rating period.  The new rating period
   begins on July 1, 1996 and ends on June 30, 1997.  The
   Service Fee rates for this period will be $103 per month, for
   each open disability claim and $68 per month for each
   litigated claim.  These fees are only in effect for those
   departments that are legally uninsured for their workers'
   compensation costs.  The Master Agreement does not apply to
   agencies with workers' compensation insurance policies.
