  The Compensation Plus handbook was updated by DPA in 
  December 2000 to provide the most up-to-date information 
  about benefits for managers, supervisors, confidential and 
  excluded employees.
  
  This handbook provides an easy-to-use summary of benefits 
  such as the new 401(K) Employer Contribution Program, 
  wages, retirement, leave and insurance programs.
  
  Please use the attached copy of the handbook as a 
  duplication master for use in your department.  In addition 
  to the distribution of this master, DPA has made this 
  handbook available to you and your employees on our website 
  at:  www.dpa.ca.gov/benefits/pubsmain.shtm.  There are two 
  versions of the handbook at this location.  The html 
  version is best used for viewing on-line, while the Word 
  formatted version provides a print-friendly version for use 
  by your employees to make a hard copy of the document.
