1 - Modesto - Employer paid Retiree Health/Dental/Vision is based on a conversion of unused sick leave at retirement (if no sick leave, then no city contribution). Formula: 90$ of sick leave hours divided by 8 = the number of months of City-paid retiree contributions. The City-paid Retiree contribution is equal to the City=paid contributions for active employees (for family coverage). The City-paid contributions for retiree only coverage id equal to the median priced HMO, Dental and Vision plan premium amount, but not to exceed the city-paid contribution made to active employees with single coverage.
2 - Roseville – 5 years vested with the City and the following with PERS: 10 yrs = 50% contrib.; 11 = 55%; 12 = 60%; 13 = 65%; 14 = 70%; etc. up to 20 yrs = 100%
