Rehired Annuitants Can Contribute to Savings Plus
State and CSU employees who separate and return to work as a "Rehired Annuitant" can contribute to Savings Plus.
(The term "rehired" annuitant, is also known as "retired" annuitant among State employees.)
As a working retiree, you understand firsthand the importance of financial security during retirement.
It's not too late to act. As a Rehired Annuitant, you qualify for this benefit if you:
- Are paid via a State Payroll System;
- Separated at least 60 days ago; and
- Are not currently receiving any periodic payment distributions from a Savings Plus account.
The Rehired Annuitant Enrollment Agreement is available on the Savings Plus website under "forms and publications" or call a customer service representative at 1-866-566-4777, press *0 (Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time) to have a form mailed to you.
