Securities Lending Agent - Request for Interest in Upcoming RFP

The Department of Personnel Administration Savings Plus Program will soon release a Request for Proposal (RFP 700-07-04).

About This RFP

This RFP is for a securities lending agent. The agent will implement and manage a full-service Securities Lending and Cash Collateral Reinvestment Program.

Savings Plus wishes to generate incremental revenues in a secure, risk-controlled manner. Subject to further analysis, the potential amount of lendable assets totals about $1.8 billion as of January 31, 2008. These assets are maintained in domestic equities across capitalization levels and styles, as well as non-US equities.

We anticipate releasing this RFP around April 21, 2008.

To get the RFP bid package, please visit the California State Contracts Register on or after April 21, 2008. Follow these instructions.

• Select "View By Contract Number Or Agency."
• Select "Agency."
• Scroll to "Department of Personnel Administration."
• Click Submit.
