Search for a Job Description by Title or Code
How It Works
Enter the title or code of a State job and click "Go" to see a list of matching jobs. For example:
- Search for jobs with "Analyst" in the title.
- Search for code 5157 to get the Staff Services Analyst job description.
If you leave both title and code blank and click "Go," you'll get a list of all State jobs - more than 4000 different job descriptions! This can take a little while to load, so please be patient.
Descriptions, Not Openings
The job descriptions help you learn
- whether you qualify for a particular job,
- what you might expect to do if you were hired for a job, and
- what kind of career advancement is possible.
They do not tell you
- what job openings exist,
- what the job pays, or
- where to take a test for a job.
