DPA - Benefits - Employee Suggestion Program

The Merit Award Board consists of five members. They are responsible for reviewing all award recommendations for suggestions adopted by more than one State agency; for adopted suggestions which were submitted prior to January 1, 1993; and for suggestions where the cash award will be greater than $5,000. The Board members make their recommendations to the Director of DPA through the Staff to the Board. Those awards of more than $5,000 are submitted to the Legislature for subsequent approval.
