Long-Term Care Insurance
The California Public Employee's Retirement System (CalPERS) administers the Long-Term Care Program.
Eligibility
- All California public employees, retirees, their spouses, parents, and parents-in-law are eligible for the CalPERS Long-Term Care Program. Note: The plan is currently not accepting new enrollees.
The program provides Long-Term Care insurance to
- CalPERS members
- Teachers
- School employees
- University of California and California State university employees and retirees
- County and city employees and retirees
- Judges, Legislators, and all other California public employees and retirees
