LIFESTYLE CHANGE

Lifestyle change programs are programs where employees have decided they are ready to make a change. Employees have become aware of a health concern, sought out information, and are ready to implement change in their lives. These programs usually cost more per person than awareness activities because it is important to have several points of contact to help keep the behavior changed over time. A lifestyle change would be an employee enrolling in a smoking cessation program. Examples of other lifestyle change programs include weight loss programs, aerobics classes, walking clubs, and nutrition programs/counseling.
