DPA has reissued its Invitation For Bid for providers of testing for drug and alcohol abuse. Interested parties can find details for bid submissions on the Dept. of General Services Web site from Jan. 25 through Feb. 9, 2007, at http://www.cscr.dgs.ca.gov/cscr/ (input Contract No. IFB 200-07-03).

 

The deadline to submit bids is March 9, 2007, at 3:00 pm.

 

DPA administers a "reasonable suspicion" testing program for State employees covered by federal drug and alcohol testing regulations and State laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. DPA also administers a substance abuse testing consortium through which agencies meet federal drug and alcohol testing requirements for commercial drivers.
