State Reemployment

• Reemployment Lists

If you’re laid off, demoted, or involuntarily transferred, your employer will put your name on a reemployment list, which entitles you to return to your former job class/location if there’s an opening.

Employees on a reemployment list are given priority in hiring over employees in the SROA Program. You may remain on a reemployment list for up to five years. Your ranking on the list is based on your seniority score when you were laid off.
